Fyzal Opada's 1/16 Scale Trumpeter T34 Russian Tank!!!

When Fyzal joined IPMS Manila in 2003, he was relatively new to plastic scale modeling. He cannot forget that one constructive comment about his contest entry back then - "It's too clean Fyz..".  From then on, Fyzal listened and learned from those who are more experienced in Armor modeling.  After just one year, Fyzal won his first competition at the Ayala Alabang IPMS Manila Contest winning 2nd place for 1/35 Armor. Since then , Fyzal was always a guy to beat when it came to Armor modeling. He now buildsHelicopters and is trying out building Ships as well. This year, he took the challenge of building this 1/16 T-34 Russian tank which he considered a difficult project. He said that it is his first time to build at this scale. Fyzal scratched build many parts of the model and did a lot of surgery in it to make it turnout this way. After many months of researching. building, fitting and gluing, his new baby was ready for display. Fyzal just finished Bachelor of Science in Computer Science last year and is continuing his vocational studies  in the same field to further widen his knowledge. He dreams of living and working abroad someday. We all believe he will! With the same determination and inspiration he had with this project, I could imagine this guy waving goodbye at the entrance of the aircraft sooner than we think. Well done Fyz! More models to come!

Team Airsoft IPMS Manila felt proud after showing what Fyzal's tank was all about to the Airsoft Gaming Community. It was one good way of spreading the hobby to others.
