I know the poster is not relevant, but I like it, especially as it is 'balances' the politics of these men!!
This following list was initially based on Robert A Stradling's The
Irish and the Spanish Civil war 1936-1939, published by Mandolin, an imprint of
Manchester University Press. ISBN 1901341135, price
£10.95

The list was substantially increased
with over 200 extra names found in F McGarry's book, and some others found in different sources, so that there are now 660 names of the Irish brigade and associated groups listed, i.e. their clergy and medical staff.

or get your library to buy them. This page was redesigned, 2nd February

Update May 23rd 2006
I've checked through my notes, the various books, etc and have discovered problems with a lot of the potential names for the Bandera, including some who've been listed by McGarry and Stradling.
Here's a list of men who are cited in some sources as having gone to Spain with O'Duffy. The problem is that I can find NO EVIDENCE THAT THEY ACTUALLY MADE THE TRIP. Some men dropped out in Galway, others thought about it, but didn't make the trip. This page makes a request to any and all readers, can you help prove that any of these people WERE IN Spain? Check the list out here.

Because this list of all the volunteers for Franco from
Ireland is quite extensive, I've decided to split the table up in order to
speed things up As you can see the number of identified northerners is quite
small so they are listed here as well.
