Sligo:- Thursday 14th70th Anniversary of the SCW
Bob will speak at a Public Meeting in the City Hotel, Quay Street, Sligo on Thursday 14th September at 8.30.p.m.
The event is one of a number being organised by the Connolly Forum in Sligo to mark the 70th anniversary of the beginning of the Spanish Civil War.
Harry Owens will also speak at the meeting and Councillor Declan Bree, of the Connolly Forum will preside at the event.
Everyone is welcome to attend.

Belfast:- Saturday 16thUnveiling a Plaque to the SCW volunteers and book launch
The day starts with a public meeting on the SCW addressed by Manus O'Riordan at 11am in Transport House, High St.
Bob will unveil a memorial plaque to the volunteers in Spain at 3pm in the John Hewitt bar, Donegal St.
Following this there will be a launch of his book, and then a social to finish of the 2006 Tour!
I'd like to thank Bob, his family and Harry for agreeing to this tough schedule of events.
