St. John's Episcopal includes several members of the James M. Gibson Iris Society amongst its congregation. Robert came to California upon the sale of his orchid business in Canada. His interest in orchids hooks naturally into irises - hybridizing between the two is remarkably similar. Bruce is a Japanese iris fanatic, focusing much of his attention on Kathryn's hybridizing efforts. |
