'Union True Blue' Masonic Lodge No. 659

Warrant No. 659 was issued to Brethen to form a Lodge in BALLYMACBRENNAN nr. Lisburn, Co. Antrim on 14th December 1786 named 'Masonic Star', later re-named ' Union True Blues.
Removed to LISNODE, Lisburn, Co. Antrim in 1804.
19th May 1830 Royal Arch Warrant issued. Removed to Belfast Dec. 1868.
From minutes of Grand Lodge Board of General Purposes, Lodge No. 659 was suspended on 28th April 1856 for non payment of dues, but were restored on 4th September before their Warrant was cancelled.
30th November 1868 - Application from Lodge No. 659, Lisnod, for permission to remove to Belfast. Recommended by P.G.L. of Antrim. Removed to Freemasons Hall, Arthur Square, Belfast, December 1868.
