American Anti-Slavery Group  - focuses primarily on black chattel sllavery in Africa, where Arab Muslims are selling black Christian and animist Africans into slavery in Sudan. Amnesty International - While Amnesty International does a good job of reporting on government-sponsored persecution and discrimination, it doesn't fair well at reporting on the persecution and discrimination by extra-governmental groups and even ordinary Muslims.  For those reasons, a Hindu refugee from Kashmir referred to AI as "Scam-nesty International" Coalition for the Human Rights - "represents minority religious and ethnic communities from around the world ... that have borne the historical degradation of our cultures and still endure the ravaging effects of an ideological movement that is intolerant, discriminatory, racist and even genocidal: a Radical Islamist-Jihad culture." Hindu Human Rights - UK-based organization sponsoring campaigns against human rights abuses towards Hindus worldwide Human Rights Abuses in Islamic Countries (HRAIC) UK Mirror - "While Amnesty International is doing an excellent job world-wide, we see the need to monitor the implementation of Islamic law. International Action Center - While this group founded by former U.S. Attorney General Ramsey Clark takes on myriad causes (including testifying on behalf of bombers of U.S. Embassies in Tanzania and Kenya), it has also protested NATO/U.S. bombing of Yugosalvia and U.S. backing of the government of Moslem supremacist Aliya Itzebegovic in Bosnia-Herzegovina. International PEN - "the worldwide association of writers, exists to promote friendship and intellectual co-operation among writers everywhere, regardless of their political or other views; to fight for freedom of expression and to defend vigorously writers suffering from oppressive regimes." Project Open Book - documents persecution of Christians in the Islamic World.

allafrica.com  - The spread of Islam throughout Africaa (particularly sub-Saharan Africa) is woefully underreported in mainstream media.   Christian groups have tried to publicize the persecution of Africa Christians in southern Sudan, but the media focused instead on the spectacle of non-Muslims attacking Muslims in the Balkans.  This page provides frequent (almost daily updates) about Islam in Africa, notably communal strife in Nigeria.
