"This is Swazzy. No, don't ask where the name comes from. But it suits him. He was the first I impressed. The oldest too. I impressed him... four turns ago. You know, after that fight I had with dad over moving? Well, he never followed me back before... but I've only visited once, you see? So, who was suppose to know? No one. And you dare tell dad, or anyone, and I'll make you regret it Ty. I mean it. I know how much he hates anything to do with riders." |

"This here, is Bungee. Its a nice name don't you agree? Bungee was impressed three turns ago. After dad sent word about me coming back. Oh, its not a revenge thing, I just like visiting a certain place, and I'd always impress! I don't mind. I love that place. It makes me feel so comfortable... well anyhow. They were all impressed at the same place you see, and no. I didn't do it to annoy our dad. I did it for myself." |

"And this fellow here, is Lucky Number. I impressed him a Turn ago. After... after.... after he... you know what happened. After he told me never to come back. Lucky was the only good thing that happened to me that way. So I"m very happy with him. He's like my good luck charm. I'm so glad I visitied that place when I did. What do I like it there? Oh, because its so nice and calm, yet busy at the same time... you could loose yourself out there. But I never did.... I never did...." |
Leoca watched as a fascinated Ty looked up with awe at her flits. She had impressed all of them at Baeris Healing Den. It was one of her favorite places to visit, with all the different kind of things they had. The hatchery was her favorite place, because of it was so large, and so full. Yet so empty. It comforted her. And that was how she had managed to impress all the three firelizards she had managed to impress. Leoca was different from the other girls. She was different from most people. Well, almost everyone admired dragons, their riders, firelizards, watch whers, etc. And she liked them too. She guess she liked them more because her father didn't like them. It was a mutual attraction. But one thing that made her different was that.... she was scared of heights. And most of all, she was scared of flying. Especially going /between/. There was only one person she trusted with that job, and it was Baeris and her Green-Gold dragon, and Naeodin, with her gold dragon. They were both sort of Weyrwomans, but that didn't make her trust them. It was just this crazy feeling she had. But other wise, she couldn't go /between/, she couldn't fly, and she couldn't go up somewhere high without feeling like her stomach was going to burst open, or that her mind would shut down. It was a strange phobia really. Something that was stranger with her love of dragons. continue |
"My name, is Leoca." And that was all she said. Leoca was a young girl... or perhaps now, a woman, or 20 turns. She was the second oldest of four kids, born and raised at Istabitha's Weyr. Leoca was a healthy looking person. She was 4'10 with a slender figure. Her skin was pale, and it burn easily. Her hair was straight and a dark shade of red, it hung down to mid-back. She liked to keep it out of her face with a blue ribbon. Her eyes were a hazel brown, making her skin look paler then it was. All in all, Leoca was a ... strange looking woman. Leoca was stubborn. She wasn't shy, but she wasn't loud. She would keep to herself most of the time, but had a tendacy of setting others off. She acted meek, yet she was very determined... in what she wanted to be determined in. Leoca laughed alot, and she was polite. But she could come up with her own stinging remarks. "I can't believe you dragged me all the way over to talk to him.You know I don't like traveling!" Leaco was fuming. "I have better things to do with my time... like having fun" The man she was takling to winced. "You could have told him yourself." Leoca snorted. "Come on Ty. You have to have a better reason to talk to him" Ty was about to speak when a burst of color entered the room. "What the-" Leoca laughed. "Oh these? They are what you call friends." Ty turned red. "You know dad hates anything like that. So why three of them?" Leoca grinned. |
