Interesting facts:

Four videos were released in 1992 and 1993 containing 2 episodes each, being:
The Ugly Mermaid / Do the Koopa
Mind You Mummy Mommy, Mario / True Colors
Misadventures in Babysitting / Super Koopa
Never Koop A Koopa / A Toadally Magical Adventure
26 episodes were produced, and shown at 7:30-8:30 A.M. on Saturdays
Only one episode was made without a world-board introduction, "Kootie Pie Rocks." Although released on video, the T.V. series NEVER appears in any video databases.

The show was never featured on any combined Mario shows, "Mario All Stars" with Super Mario World and Super Mario Bros. Super Show sans the live action segments.

The shows origanally shared an hour with Captain N and was called "Captain N and the Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3".

Show Intro: It is a legend no one will forget... Everyone thought King Koopa had left the Mushroom Kingdom. And then, his Doom Ship attacked! King Koopa was back, with the greatest danger ever known... his Koopa Kids! Using their new super powers, the Super Mario Brothers rescued Princess Toadstool, and beat back the evil Koopa Family...

General Info.: This show was released in 1990, again on NBC, right after "The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!" stopped airing new episodes (it was still on national TV, however, until September 1991, when it was cancelled, and the Family Channel bought it for showing, where it stayed until about 1994 or 1995, along with The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World, both shown randomly along with the Super Show, when it was replaced by Mario All Stars). It had the second most number of cartoons, and introduced the Koopa Kids, Boom-Boom, the Koopa Airships, new super powers, and the different Mushroom Worlds.

The Koopalings: The Koopa Kids took on different names on the cartoon than on the Super Mario Bros. 3 Nintendo video game. Below is a list of the names. The Kids looked very similar to Nintendo's drawings of them, except for Cheatsee(Larry) and Hip(Lemmy). Here are the Koopalings' alternate names, these also apply to Super Mario World:

Iggy: Hop
Lemmy: Hip
Morton: Big Mouth
Roy: Bully
Wendy: Kootie Pie
Larry: Cheatsy
Ludwig: Kooky

New Super Powers: The Mario Bros. had new super powers, and the same items and doing the same things as in the game. Even Princess Toadstool and Toad could use them, and in one episode, King Koopa even used them. The Marios could bash music note boxes to get a super leaf that granted Raccoon power, or wear a mysteroius frog suits that increased swimming ability. They could touch magic starmen that made them invincible, get mystical blue fire flowers that gave them fire power, wear Kuribo's Shoe which gave them extra-stomping power, and use the two magical P-Wings which lie in Princess Toadstool's castle cellar, used in the episode "Up, Up, And A Koopa, but strangely, they never used the mushroom boosts.

The Mushroom Worlds: The Mushroom Worlds of the Mushroom Kingdom were new to the cartoon series, and exclusive to The Adventures Of Super Mario Bros. 3. Here is a listing of them:
Grassland (usually referred to as the Mushroom Kingdom)
Desertland (sometimes referred to as the Koopahari Desert)
Waterland
Giantland
Skyland (sometimes referred to as Sky World)
Iceland
Pipeland (sometimes refered to as the Pipe Maze)
Darkland

Episodes: There were 26 episodes of The Adventures Of Super Mario Bros. 3. Some titles include "The Venice Menace", "True Colors", "Recycled Koopa", "A Toadally Magical Adventure", and "Misadventures In Babysitting". There were more, one in which the Koopas turned the King of Giantland into a poodle and it was up to the Marios to save the day, and defeat the Mad Sun and the Sledge Brothers, called "Sneaky, Lying, Cheating, Giant Ninja Koopas" (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles spoof).
