"It's your SPECTRE against mine."
By the time MGM and United Artists released Thunderball, the 007 series had already become incredibly popular. This was the first Bond flick to concentrate on the SPECTRE organization, which was used as the enemy for most of the other movies. Released in 1965, it revolves around the theft of two nuclear warheads and the demands that must be met before they are used to blow up two countries in the world. Bond's Aston Martin made another appearance at the introduction for the movie, but that was not the main feature of the movie: instead, an intense underwater harpoon gun fight took its place. With more great gadgets from Q and another perfect performance by Sean Connery -- plus a great theme song by Tom Jones -- Thunderball is (needless to say) a classic. (Thunderball was re-made by Warner Bros. in 1983 as Never Say Never Again)
