Biographical Information
Jack is a US Navy (1951-55) veteran of the Korean War. In 1952-53, he served in Korea and in Japan as a Hospital Corpsman with the Fleet Marine Force, First Marine Air Wing.
He is a retired science educator ( physics and chemistry), and has been a teacher of computer programming, a Union Pacific Railroad employee, and an employee of the U.S. Federal Government. He has worked in the timber in the Idaho Primitive Area, has built a rail fence at the remote headwaters of the Salmon River, and has delivered newspapers, worked as a stock boy, and delivered telegrams for Western Union. He has a degree in chemistry and an advanced degree in physics.
He now makes his home in the Pacific Northwest of the United States, where he is writing a novel and doing genealogical research as time permits..
