At  the same place you typed in this www address you type in altavista.com

Wait for the computer to find AltaVista and then where it says Find this: you type in your first and last name within quotation marks something like this "Jack Bowman" and click on search or press enter.

You are to write your name on a piece of paper and answer how many web pages were found and turn it in to me.

If no web pages were found your are to type in only your last name without quotation marks something like this Bowman

You are to then write your name (first and last) on a piece of paper and answer how many web pages were found and turn it in to me.

After you have turned your paper in you are to check out some of the web pages that are associated with your name.   You are not allowed to go anywhere else on the internet during the first day of this assignment.
