Week 1--- May 24, 2000
Not that I like to brag or anything, but Eyes beat the shit out of the first team we bowled. Jared, Matt, and Nick all bowled at least 190 averages for the night. Phill, who subbed for Austin, also bowled pretty damn good. To put it simply, we whooped serious ass. I think this reveals to everyone what Eyes has in it's arsenal this year.
Averages
Phill-- not sure, 175 maybe
Nick-- 190 or so
Matt-- 190
Jared-- 193
Austin-- hasn't bowled yet
Week 2--- May 31, 2000
Well I haven't seen such low scores since the old days in the youth league. Of course, no one on the team gives a rats ass cause we still won 4 games. Eyes goes 8-0 this week. A repeat of our first summer victory is in sight.
Sorry, but I'm not posting averages this week for fear of being accused of sand bagging.
Week 3 --- June 7, 2000
Word can not describe the ass whipping that Eyes received this week. I'd have to say we bowled even worse than last week. Losing 3 games, we are sure to drop a couple of places. It shouldn't be too difficult to overcome this defeat since it's still close to the begining of the league.
Sand bagging is still an issue. Well not really, I just forgot to look at the averages at the bowling alley. You have my word that they've dropped about 20 or 30 pins.
Week 4 and 5 --- June 21 and 28, 2000
The team scorches the competition in the last 2 weeks with six wins
out of eight games. We have a decent lead over the second place team, which
gives us some room to screw up. The really low averages give us a
slight edge because we get more handicap.
All the avergages are in the 160-170's range. I still forgot to look at the recap sheets. Sorry.
Week 6 and 7 --- July 5 and 12, 2000
Eyes opened yet another can of whoop ass as we stomped across the pride
of the opposition. The team remains in 1st by only a couple of games and
it is imperitive that we win as much as possible. For even one slip up
can cost us the valued title.
Ah forget the freeken averages. I'm just to lazy to post them. Lets
just give the team the benefit of the doubt that we all average over 200.
