I will start with compling all the Warner information I have collected over the years with the credit of most the work going to others whom I will list with their permission.
We have collected some letters and items of interest along with much genealogy. Our first Thomas with some infomation on is the father of the Thomas that came to Cape Breton in or about 1829.
So to start with so information on our first Thomas. His father was also a Thomas who died in May 14, 1847 as one letter may indicate. Same letter says our first Thomas died in 1843.
Thomas 1 was in the military and we have a copy of his discharge papers.
Thomas Warner (7) was a band sgt of an English regiment stationed in the Channel Island; he married Catherine Bond daughter of Capt. Thomas Bond who left property to heirs of disinherited daughter Catherine. Capt Bond was drowned by the capsizing of a brig off the coast of Newfoundland about 1834. Thomas Warner (7) was a school-master at the time of his death.

So now we can call him Thomas (6). He was the s/o William and Sarah (When William got married he was a minor and his father had to sign for him ) (see below)who was the son of Robert and Mary who was the son of John and Jenny He has 3 children is as many as we have mention of .

This marriage was soleminized between us, the mark of William Warner, the mark of Sarah Smith in the presence of T.L.Tweed, John Rolf. The mark of Robert Warner, the father.
Thomas (5) came first to Cape Breton then William came either to Cape Breton or mainland Nova Scotia ( Port Mulgrave).
Their sister Catherine stay in England.
