The natural beauty of the area, its perfect setting, rocks, coves and true West Coast architecture creates an ambience smacking of the romance of an untarnished Greek isle, but remaining absolutely authentic West Coast!
The wee village offers, safe bays for canoeing and the launching of boats, incredible rocky features within the sea, a kilometre long white beach and natural Fynbos, including a wildflower spectacle annually.
Wildlife such as duiker, steenbok, jackals, tortoises, and birdlife, so abundant it makes for eternal viewing during migration seasons, is also found.
To get to Jacobsbaai one must follow the R27 from Cape Town (120km). Turn left at the Saldanha turn-off (R79) and travel to the Saldanha/Vredenburg intersection (11km). Cross over onto a gravel road to Jacobsbaai.
