About Us :

Hello ! Dallas(right) and I (Jackie)(left)were the designers of this site . I'll start by telling you about Dallas . Dallas a.k.a. Provenhill's Dallas of Cream Hill was first born April 27th , 1997 in Hopewell , NJ to her parents Ch. Provenhill's Elsinore Raindance(dam)and Ch. Elsinore's Nantucket Blues(stud)She had 7 sisters and 1 brother . She along with her brother , (Ch .Provenhill's Bound to Impress) and another sister were the only tri colored . The rest were blue merle , and all were smooth except for her sister Harriet who was a rough(like lassie)We purchased Dallas and her sister , Devon from breeder, Kris Provenzano(Provenhill Collies)in the same summer . Since then we all have become very dedicated to the breed . We joined the Collie Club of Northern NJ and attended many matches with the pups untill they were older . Then we brought both Dallas ,and her sister to all breeds, and eventually specialties. At our first specialty show ,Hunterdon Hills Collie Club , Dallas recieved WB , and BOW under Don Bickford . She only needed one more point for a major ! OH WELL! The next week we took both her ,and her sister to our first national , where Dallas took a fourth in her 9 -12 month class out of 11 beautiful bitches. Her sister Devon took a 1st out of 4 in American Bred , and her other now well known sister(Ch. Provenhill's Whisper the Blues)(# 2 in Collie Expressions)took 3rd in bred by exibitor bitches! It was a all round great year! The following November ,we adopted another dog from our breeder : Dallas and Devon's nephew(Ch.Provenhill's Promises to Keep)While Dallas took a break from the showring , both the new pup(Major) and Devon participated in  a few specialties and , both finished ! Dallas will start up again this year . I'm hoping she will be successful however , if she's  not she may take up obedience , herding , pet therapy , or something else real soon!

As for me : I'm Jackie , 17 and as you can tell above , have only been showing collies for about 5 years . I'm an a.k.c. registered junior handler but prefer  the breed ring to the junior ring . I'm a junior member of our Collie Club of Northern NJ(my sister , friends and I usually help at our club's matches) , and hope to become a full member some day. I do most of the showing of our collies . I show both Dallas and Major in both jr.s competition , and breed competition and have been especially successful in  puppy sweeps handling Major , however Dallas never dissapoints me . She has gotten several places(although not all firsts)over what I think are beautiful collies . I really love showing collies and don't intend to quit anytime soon . I plan to keep on showing these wonderful animals.
I hope you (enjoyed/will) enjoy our site!

P.S. - Dallas and , have taken up a new hobby:  "Pet Therapy" She, and I worked hard to earn a CGC(Canine Good Citizen) and a TDI(Therapy Dogs International) Certification. Since then, we have  helped certify other therapy dogs, have worked in safety town, and have worked in a class room with autistic children. Dallas continues to bring a smile to many people's faces. I am definately proud of her, and lucky to have her as a pet!
