CmdEdit History
Changes from 3.20 to 3.21
- Fixed a rare but severe bug with filename completion.
Changes from 3.15 to 3.20
- Added separate symbol and macro buffers for applications;
- Application macro translation state is remembered (rather than being
disabled every line);
- CMDEDIT can be disabled separately for DOS and application;
- Corrected disable macro translation (/t) to actually disable
internal commands; it now also disables variable replacement;
- CMDEDIT can now load itself high; an option is provided to prevent this;
- Output a carriage return after reading a line from a macro or multi-cmd;
- The alternate warning message (/w) has been removed;
- Command line options can be explicitly enabled or disabled;
- All buffers' size can be displayed.
Changes from 3.14 to 3.15
- Shaved off a few more bytes;
- Fixed a slight bug with filename completion;
- Renamed FullWordLeft and Right to StringLeft and
Right.
Changes from 3.13 to 3.14
Brace expansion is again done first. This is to allow file.{c,txt}
to be associated.
Changes from 3.12 to 3.13
Just a minor correction to allow CLS to work with multiple commands
and macros (with NANSI, anyway).
Changes from 2j3 to 3.12
Enhancements:
- don't add closing quote for completed directories;
- disable (/z) works on DOS;
- removed recursion on inline expansion;
- display symbol/macro buffer size used (/s?m?);
- alternative association (append '=');
- application history has same functionality as DOS history.
New features:
- /k option to share buffers with multiple DOS boxes;
- /? help screen;
- /q quiet option;
- /e so matching empty strings acts like history.
