Biography:
Born on a ranch in Texas to a Naval Officer, Meg grew up around horses, contributing to her enjoyment of riding. She also loved her father very much, and, when he died, she was heart-broken. An old friend of her father's, Ollie, helped her mother looked after her, and proved quite useful in getting, the not-completely-legally way, information for Meg when she grew up.
She decided to follow in her father's footsteps, and became a Naval officer herself. Originally intending to be a Computer Weapons specialist, she instead switched to lawyering. She was Harm's partner for a year, but was then transferred out of JAG headquarters and replaced by Major Mackenzie.
In order to not give away too many spoilers, I have not included much information from the time during the episodes.
