Thrust magazine
says:
Red Almighty Mars: My Ever-Swingin’
Moods (Independent)
Moods is right. The man in the
middle, James Gardner, sure likes to play the gamut of rock and roll. He’s
all over the map, he is. From sweet, syrupy ballads, to twangy country,
to swingin’ boogie, to bluesy rockers – you name it, it’s here.
He has the attention span and sardonic
view of a Frank Zappa, but doesn’t venture as far afield. The one constant
is a good sense of humour, and the silly factor in music is becoming an
endangered species. Proceeds go to the local Cancer Society, so give it
up.

"[My Every-Swingin' Moods]
was enough to make me start raving. Every last bit of it is great. Reminds
me of George Harrison and his band The Traveling Wilburys."
