From the moment his younger brother Symon was big enough to walk they were always getting into trouble. Settling in New Orleans, Louisiana, the home life in the Grimm household was nowhere near wholesome. Freddie was a moonshiner and Susan turned tricks at a local brothel. Being a moonshiner, Freddie was an alcoholic by nature and constantly got drunk, beating Susan and her sons. After dealing with ths seemingly unedning pain for five years, Susan took her boys and went west to her father's farm in Sheridan, Oregon. Grandpa Grimm's farm proved to be an unending source of interest for the youngsters. Kaiser and Symon showed an incredible aptitude for for all things mechanical as well as hunting. Days were happily enjoyed as the boys caused mischeif on the farm but as they say, nothing gold can stay. After nine nine years, shortly after Kaiser's fourteenth birthday, Freddie arrived on the farm with a .45 revolver in his hand, fully intent on teaching Susan and his bastard sons a lesson. It was midday when the first shot echoed across farm. Freddie had tried to shoot Susan, but Grandpa Grimm had stepped into the path, taking the bullet in his daughter's stead. Before Freddie could get off another shot, Kaiser caught him over the wrist with a baseball bat, breaking Freddie's wrist and causing him to drop the gun. Kicking the revolver under the fridge, Kaiser took another swing at Freddie. Catching the bat with his good hand, Freddie ripped the bat from Kaiser's hands and followed the fleeing teenager out of the house and into the barn. As Freddie followed Kaiser into the barn, Symon lashed out at him with a sickle, catching Freddie in the lower back. Frederick Page was not heard from again. After a long and grueling trial, including a lawsuit filed by Freddie's family, the Grimms were expunged of all charges by the court, citing it as an example of extreme self-defense. It had marked the end of Freddie's influence in their life. High school was something that came naturally to Kaiser. While exceedingly intelligent, Kaiser lacked any real desire and motivation to excel beyond his peers. He also found school to be very childish and boring. Finishing out high school with above average grades, Kaiser forewent college and immediately enlisted into the US Marine Corps. A year later, his brother Symon would follow in his steps. Kaiser found a new love of life in the Marines. Enlisting as an infantry man, Kaiser loved everything about the military around him. Showing exceptional leadership skills, Kaiser was quickly accepted amongst his superiors as a leader, despite his low rank. After serving his first two years as a grunt, Kaiser opted to move on to the selection process for Special Forces. Finsihing at the top of his recruiting class at selection, Kaiser was immediately excommunicated from the Marines, and moved into the US Government's covert military operatives: The Delta Force. Spending years supressing uprisings by warlords and stemming terrorist cells gave Kaiser many days of enjoyment. After several succesful missions, he was given command of his own team and was sent out on what would turn out to be a life-changing event for both him and his brother. Sent out on joint operation with the CIA in Kiev, Kaiser was reunited with his brother Symon, a member of the CIA's own Black Ops. While on what was supposed to be a textbook sweep and clean of a terrorist cell, the brothers were betrayed by one of Kaiser's own men and both fell victim to a suicide bomber in the middle of their operation center. Officially listed as KIA, the brothers were actually kept holed up in a government research facility, both left in a vegetative state. Their ruined bodies were kept there until they were stolen by the odd, but brilliant, Doctor Connor Goodspeed. Using experimental techniques, Dr. Goodspeed rebuilt them completely, giving them both metallic skeletal structures and artificial organs including a hard wired brain that connects with optical implants with variable vision modes and targeting sensors. Once again reborn, the Grimms turned over a new, more profitable leaf. They became soldiers of fortune, working for the highest bidder. Assassinations, beatings, thefts; anything short of rape that paid right, and they were there. Thus, The Brothers Grimm were born. After years of playing cat and mouse with Government officials, Kaiser decided it was time to retire from the mercenary business. To help keep his mind from the business, Kaiser now owns and operates two auto shops in the Continental United States, one in Boston, Massachusetts where he makes his main home, and one back in his home state, located in Portland, Oregon, plus a third auto shop along the Thames River in London, England. However, despite his best efforts to stay out of the game, Kaiser is occasionally drawn into the underworld to settle affairs, his last high profile job taking him to Germany to subdue a terrorist cell for the CIA. AUTHOR'S NOTE: I am currently in the process of writing this as a Novelette/Novella. Kaiser is fit for Modern or Futuristic time settings. Some fantasy elements are acceptable, more so if I play Kaiser with his bio-mechanical implants active. Kaiser in his Military Hey Days. Click here to return to Yahoo!
