Sometimes we lose Sight

Sometimes we lost sight,
Of what we really have

Sometimes we lose sight,
Of where our eyes should be

Sometimes we lose sight,
Of what our priorities our

Sometimes we lose sight,
Of what we can have

Sometimes we lose sight,
Of how we really care

Sometimes we lose sight,
Of whom each other is.

We are two dif'rent beings,
Trying to become one

There'll be things to sacrifice,
To move a step closer

We'll split thoughts, on things-a-many;
But if we pray and give up pride,
Love will overrun it a-plenty

Sometimes we lose sight,
That holding hands, hugging, kissing, and that lot

Is no requirement at all,
Just a benefit of one formed from two parts.
