Here I give this poem to you,
For Valentine's Day 2004.
We found joy in both our hearts,
And God promises us so much more.
I cannot say "something",
Without thinking of you.
Yet someday, I hope,
We'll be able to say feelings true.
I've committed to,
You and God;
And find joy in,
That agreeing nod.
But in this poem,
This I must;
And truly hope,
In God you'll trust.
So here I go,
And you may if you so choose to do.
As I let this ink flow,
I just wished to tell you "I love you".
