Dingles department store, Old Christchurch Road, Bournemouth
						Notwithstanding the Christmas decorations, Dingles store in Bournemouth town centre is a really splendid instance of exuberant Deco. The window dividers are sprinkled with sunburst designs, and there are half-sunbursts on the towers - so very typical of the period. It's difficult to see in this photo, but the stone is a lovely creamy yellow and the sunbursts are rather bluish. 1930s details remain inside the building, too - have a look at the metalwork on the lift frame!
