JV: How old are you?
AL: Almost 18, in like 3 weeks
JV: Where do you live?
AL: Corvallis, Oregon
JV: How long have you been scooting?
AL: A lil over 3 years
JV: What got you into it?
AL: Well, when i was a freshman i got a scooter because i thought it was cool, then i left for a week to go to camp, so I let Silas Henderson use it when I was gone, he used it for a week and tried to get better than me, so when I got back I was kinda jelous*. After that it was pretty much a friend game of scoot for 3 years til now.
JV: Do you do any other sports besides scooting?
AL: I was kinda into BMXing and I was into urban mountian biking
JV: Do you have any sponsors?
AL: Not currently, over the years ive gone through a few "sponsors" but I never got anything, so I dont even consider them as sponsors.
JV: What is your signature trick?
AL: I don't really have one trick that I call my own, I do well in most type of skootin' so I wouldnt say that I have one trick to call my own or whatever.
JV: What is your favorite trick?
AL: I love to do fufanus and double tailwhips.
JV: What is your favorite terrain? (Street, park, etc.)
AL: I like park, but I thrive in street.
JV: What are your favorite spots to ride?
AL: I love to skoot OSU's campus and in downtown Portland
JV: Who's your favorite rider?
AL: I really like Josh Toy, for all his mad shiznit, but I gotsta go with my homie Silas, ride or die.
JV: Who do you ride with?
AL: Silas mostly, but i have ridden with KC Corning and Jordan Miller before and I'd like to ride with that kid form Sisters.
JV: What is your worst scooting injury or bail?
AL: ...I have no idea, I've had about six really narly falls so far that i would consider to be big enough, the worst one I would say would have to be when i was just messing around with Silas at his house and i was manualing on the curvy patch of sidewalk and i lost the manual so I was just riding, ya know, and part of the fuckin sidewalk just caved in on itself so I grinded off three knuckles, then slid on my shoulder and forearm for about four feet or so before I came to a complete stop, then I rolled over and tried it again.
JV: Ouch...
JV: What is the scooter your currently riding and what are its mods?
AL: It's a Razor B model, it has duct tape around its shox, it has two of those tightening devices in front near the head case, it has a non foldable folding system, and i took off the thing that lets you adjust the height beccause i got a wicked nasty gash from that peice of shit.
JV: How often do you ride?
AL: I try to ride at least three times a week, but it hard when you have to go to school and work.
JV: What music do you ride to?
AL: Um, I never ride to music, because I dont have a portablt music player, but if I did, it would have to be The Chemical Brothers, Crystal Method, and DJ Shadow.
JV: What videos have you been featured in and are you in any upcoming videos?
AL: I'm in "The Blaze" and I think I have a small part in one of the NBS videos and probly some others that i dont know about, plus my own little 2 minute vid on EZSkoot, but that doesn't really count.
JV: Any shoutouts to close this interview?
