WHY CHILD ABUSE IS A PROBLEM Child abuse is a problem because if it doesn’t stop, than more kids are going to end up dying. We don’t want that to happened, so that’s why we need to stop child abuse.

FACTS ABOUT CHILD ABUSE According to the most recent 1997 survey from preventchildabuse.org: Physical abuse represented 22% of confirmed cases, Sexual abuse 8%, Neglect 54%, Emotional maltreatment 4% and other forms of maltreatment 12%. MORE FACTS - Low levels of marital satisfaction most affected abusive biological fathers and were highly predictive of family conflict in all three groups. - Twins are at high risk of child abuse in Japan - Personal stress has a lot to do with child abuse - Each day in the U..S. more than 3 children die in the U.S.A. result of child abuse in the home - Nearly 29% of those abused and neglected as children were a rested from a criminal offense as an adult
