"1. Jamie is an asset to any production. Producers, directors, actors and singers love to work with her. She has the reputation of being a collaborator, ensemble-creator and leader. She serves her art with humility and that gives her the respect she deserves.
2. Jamie is a professional. Her attention to detail is exemplary. She listens to the work, and her eye for the big picture is one of the best I have seen.
3. Jamie is dedicated to moving the art forward. She is well-educated and knows the rules. And while her work is informed and even inspired, she is not constricted or restricted by any limitations. There is a grand feel to her work and audiences of all ages seem to applaud her talent.
4. You can trust Jamie to follow through and manage any task practically on her own. She is always on time, prepared and willing to go the extra mille.
5. Her talent and abilities in the theatre, as in life, are many and varied. Above all is her commitment to excellence.
It is with complete faith in her commitment, discipline, enthusiasm and potential that I recommend Ms. Feinberg. You will not be disappointed."

"Simply put, Jamie is one of the finer employees we have in a tour actor/director position. She is a good singer and moves well. Perhaps her strongest quality is her positive attitude. Jamie tackles problems head-on with strong communication skills and a smile.
Along with performing, Jamie's MCT tour assignment requires her to direct a new cast of children every week. She rises to the challenge almost instantly. She commands respect, she motivates, she inspires-because the kids know that she cares. Her relationship with children is based on warmth, concern and a confidence based on her professionalism. It is obvious to all that Jamie's efforts are based on a passion for her art, a strong sense of selflessness and an impeccable personal ethic.
On a personal note, she is a delightful young woman, liked and respected by her peers and mentors alike. She is a fine singer and teacher and is dedicated to taking her craft to the next level. I know that she is eager to be challenged, and I am confident that you would find Jamie Feinberg to be an asset."

Jamie Feinberg has been my voice student for two years; it is rare to find a student as diligent and mature as Jamie is. I have learned not to be terribly concerned by the number of projects she juggles on a daily basis; she is a supremely organized and capable person. I have never seen her fill her schedule to the point that she cannot fulfill her academic or artistic obligations, but what Jamie manages to fit into a typical week would be unfathomable to the average person. She manages to do it all, and always with a quiet air of serenity.
As meticulous as she is productive, Jamie learns a large volume of music quickly and accurately. I always look forward to lessons with her, because they tend to be exciting, and often she will bring in new music to present to me. Jamie pays a great deal of attention to text, and to bringing forth new meaning-expressivity is a strong point for her. Jamie works hard at her vocal technique, and she is more analytical and introspective than most of my other students that are her age. These qualities, combined with a perfectionist's ear and eye for detail serve her well, I'm sure, when she is directing or leading others.
...
A centered, rational demeanor in the face of chaos (real or impending), the ability to dispassionatelyl analyze herself and situations while still retaining passion for her art is the mark of an inspiring artist and leader--and an accurate description of Jamie Feinberg. I would recommend her without hesitation for musical and/or theatrical endeavors and any situation that requires leadership, organization and discipline.

I have known Jamie since she began her studies at Smith College in the Fall of 2002. Although she should have graduated with the class of 2006, Jamie was able to complete her studies in only three years. In a highly challenging academic environment, Jamie excelled despite taking an overload of credits every semester. She is interested in pursuing a career in Musical Theater and I highly recommend her in this endeavor.
Jamie was a member of our choral ensembles throughout her college career. She studied piano, voice and conducting and served as Assistant Conductor of the Glee Club for two years. I supervised her in an internship position and I was her academic adviser.
After her first year here, during which she studied Conducting, Jamie approached me expressing her interest in going further with conducting. I was pleased to hire her as an intern because she was clearly very enthusiastic and received glowing recommendations from her conducting teacher. She held this internship position for a second year, which speaks to the success in her first year on the job. Jamie handled her conducting responsibilities in an utterly professional manner. This includes leading sectional rehearsals, rehearsing the full Glee Club, and conducting them in performance. Jamie verbally articulates clear musical ideas, she is an excellent musician and she is very conscientious. Her peers respect her and recognize her talent as a musician and they were always very responsive to her direction.
In addition to her conducting duties, Jamie's internship included managing many of the nonmusical activities of the Choral Program. This included taking care of the library, equipment moves and setups, hiring professional players, producing programs and publicity, and many other tasks. Jamie is exceptionally well organized, efficient and utterly reliable. I have complete faith in her ability to handle any organizational task. As a result, I assigned her the responsibility of handling hundreds of ticket orders for our concert last spring at Carnegie Hall. As you can imagine, this was a very important and complicated set of responsibilities and I entrusted this to Jamie without hesitation.
I wish I could speak with more first-hand knowledge of Jamie's skill in the realm of Musical Theater. However, we have no courses in this area and we do not have an active college-sponsored musical theater troupe. Because of her keen interest in this area, and the lack of activity at Smith, Jamie was instrumental in forming a student musical theater group. The Leading Ladies is now a respected and highly visible organization on campus which produces revues and full productions each year. The fact that this organization has made such an immediate impact on campus is a testament to Jamie's leadership behind the scenes. I have witnessed Jamie coaching the singers on one or two occasions and I was able to attend one of their productions last year. Jamie is a highly skilled pianist and is very knowledgeable about the voice. She is an excellent vocal coach and musical director. I give her my highest recommendation and hope you will consider her. -Jonathan Hirsh, Lecturer, Smith College Music Department
