Hello !,
Have I mentioned how HAPPY I am to be home. I can't believe I'm here. I was about to give up on ever seeing my friends again. I started out today with a yummy breakfast. I did not have to work in the middle of eating either. Then my friends and I hung out for a while. Mid- morning we all stretched out for a nice nap !.  Just like old times. It was warm and sunny and it felt so good to stretch out and snooze. Mom kept coming by and giving me little yummies and scratching me. Aaaah.
In the afternoon, Mom came and got me,  put me in the cross ties, groomed me and then  put on my saddle. I was thinking, hey, wait a minute, I'm home, I'm not supposed to work now. I never used to have to work. Whats up with this ? Then, she took me to the round pen and started to make me work. "WELL" I thought, I'm not going to put up with this. If I let her get away with this, she may think we can do this all the time. Soooo, I started to buck and buck and buck. Ha ha ha. ( besides, I know Randy is not here ) I know how much it disturbs my Mom when I buck, so I kept bucking and bucking and bucking. Do you think she got the picture ? I kept my eye on her and she looked like she wanted to cry. I sure did'nt act this way at Randy's. She was shocked.  I hated to upset Mom this way, but I don't want her to think I am going to work like I did at Randys.  Well, even though she was pretty unhappy with what I was doing, she kept me moving and I started getting tired. All of a sudden, I thought "oh no"
if I am naughty, she might take me back to Randy's. I better behave. Mom stopped me, tightened my cinch, took a deep breath and got on. Good thing for her I decided to behave.
She seemed a little nervous at first. She rode me around the round pen and I tried my best to do everything she asked of me. It was'nt so bad. She did'nt make me work as hard as Randy did, and I do love my Mom. When she finished riding me, we went back to the breezeway and unsaddled. She was so happy with me. I was glad I was good for her. After she brushed me, she gave me hugs, kisses and a BIG LUNCH.  Aaahhhh, so good to be home.

A big "Howdy Ho",
A little late, but today we had a birthday party for me. I almost forgot I turned 3. I guess Mom was waiting until I was home for my party. I knew she would'nt forget my birthday. I got apple snacks, carrots, a new saddle pad, and more apple snacks. Mom rode me again, this time she asked me to lope. I did my best. The day turned out great. Mom was happy, I was happy....
Mom had me pose for my party pictures, and here they are. I sure am getting big. I weigh 1100 lbs. and I
stand  15.2   Whew!

Hi there,
Just a quick update. Mom has been riding me everyday. It's not too bad. I've been doing my best (most of the time). Every now and then I have to stage a protest. I simply can't behave all the time, but for the most part, I do what I'm supposed to do. I'm afraid if I don't, Mom will send me back to Randy's. Besides, I love my Mom. She takes good care of me. She does'nt ride me as hard as Randy did. I've been enjoying my days back at home and all the grooming and attention I get.
           I'll keep you posted.

Howdy ho !,
Boy, did I get a good scare today. The day started out normal. I was finishing my breakfast, I walked into my backyard, and who did I see ? RANDY !! Oh my !! What is HE doing here ? Then mom came and took me out of my stall, saddled me up, and took me to the horse trailer. OOOH  NOOOOO !! I kept thinking, Where am I going? I've been good ! I have'nt bucked ! I got in and then mom put Brooke in the trailer with me. Brooke is'nt so nice to other horses and I was nervous to have her so close to me. I asked her if she knew what was up, but she did'nt know. We drove around for a few minutes and then we were at the Vaqueros Arena. Mom unloaded us, and handed me to RANDY ! . I thought, What is going on?
I've been good !  Well, Randy rode me for a few minutes, then he handed me back to mom. Whew. Mom got on and rode me around the arena with a bunch of other horses. Randy was busy bugging some horses I did'nt know. I was glad he forgot about me. Mom rode me back to the trailer and gave me some hay while Randy messed with Brooke. When it came time to get back in the trailer, I told Brooke "not" to get in. Mom is trained. She knows she is supposed to give us something to eat or I won't get in. I told Brooke to just stand there. Don't get in. She will remember soon. I spent a long time training her. (Yes, you can train a human !) After a few minutes of Brooke and I standing there, refusing to get in, Mom remembered. She got a couple of carrots and guess what? We got in. Ha Ha. I told you she was trained. We drove home and mom groomed us and then took us to our stalls. No sign of Randy. I guess he went back home. THANK GOD.
                                        More soon,
