Hi there, My mom sat on my back today! At first, I did'nt know what to think. Come to think of it, I still don't know what to think. I wonder why she wants to do it. Seems wierd to me. It did'nt hurt, so I guess I can get used to it if thats what gets me my treats. She seemed very happy with me afterwords, and I got lots of goodies when she finished grooming me. I wonder if i'm "broke" yet? More Soon, Cowboy |

It's Me, Well, I definitely know what the words "work" and "brake" means. It is not easy carrying your mom on your back. She is HEAVY! I got so tired today. I was a good boy however. I tried to do what I thought mom wanted. We worked on stopping and turning and walking. Whew! So far so good. More tomorrow, CB |

Dear Diary, Wow, All this new stuff I'm doing. Mom got on me again yesterday and today. Today she was by herself in the round pen. I did'nt want to cooperate too much. I did not feel like walking. My mom made me do it anyways, but I did not put up too much fight. She says my "stand still" is very good. At the end of our ride, Mom rode me from the round pen to the barn! She was very happy I did so well. I am starting to figure things out. I'll keep you posted. Broke to ride, (just kidding) Cowboy |

Hi Guys, Well, today I did it! My mom saddled me up as usual, then we went to the round pen as usual, then she got on me as usual, then I started to walk. Right when my mom was thinking what a good boy I was, I LET HER HAVE IT!!!! I put my head way down and BUCK, BUCK, BUCK as hard as I could. She went flying :-) I thought it was pretty funny. When she got up she was MAD. She said she is too old for this. I thought I would not have to work anymore but I was wrong. She made me work even harder than usual! She did not want to teach me that if I bucked her off I would be done working. Oh well I tried. She had Doyle hold me while she got back on. Then I had to learn how to ground drive. (I don't like it) I'll keep you posted. Your Buckin Friend!, Cowboy |
