This is the work of Jan Kerr, Fibre artist.

Primarily self taught, Jan has had years of experience, but is only just beginning to have her work recognised.

She has made pieces for Dianne Connell (handcrafted jewellery expert), and numerous pieces for artist / photographer Heather Busch ('Within and Beyond', co-author of 'Why Cat's Paint' and 'Dancing with Cats') among others.
And not only has she entered into the 1999 Wearable Art Awards (New Zealand) she has produced work for Donna Demente-Ogilvy to wear when she judged the Awards the previous year.

Jan has just begun a new line of work.
She has decided to go into designing and producing Fantastic Wedding Dresses. Made with her characteristic style, flair and individual look and her perfectionistic attention to detail, these special garments can be made to look exactly how you want it, or let Jan work her own Magic!
