Poisoned Evil
This is the story of an average young man, Jamie Hertz (Jason Stewart). Following an exceptionally bad day at work, Jamie is left feeling a little stomach sick. He drinks what is assumed to be a glass of alka-seltzer. What Jamie doesn’t know is that his kid sister had been playing around with some household chemicals and has left her creation on the same table as the medicine. Guess which glass Jamie drinks? This unknown mixture slowly begins to effect Jamie’s mental state. Gradually the poison mixture engulfs the once-normal man, turning him “poisoned evil” in the presence of his unsympathetic friends. Eventually though, his friends are made aware of his changed attitude when Jamie starts becoming violent. His friends Steve (Shane Michaels), Virgil (Ryan Wilson) and Barry (Jeremy Gull) have no choice but to bring down their friend before he reeks further havoc. A movie that blends comedy, action and suspense and has a real documentary feel to it.

All is not well though as the doctor’s former assistant, Tasker (Jason Stewart) plots to steal the formula- not just to please his new leader, Holec, but also because of his deep-seeded hatred of Roberts. A grand battle between Robert’s hired guns and Holec’s “Renegade Warriors” climaxes!

Splitting Images- Trespassers II
It has been three years since the evil Lord Holec’s Renegade Warriors made their attempt at stealing a top-secret formula from Dr. Roberts (Karl Sawyer) Many life-changing events occurred since that failed exertion of power. The once-powerful Renegade Warriors are now scattered and divided. Tragedy has hit home as Dr. Roberts was a victim of a suspicious lab explosion. Carrying on the late Dr. Robert’s work is Dr. Argyle (Jon Kruithof of Concrete Robe fame); friend and fellow scientist. But now an even worse threat looms in the darkness: Lord Holec, long thought dead, has returned and is now intent on destroying his former follower, Tasker (Jason Stewart from The Trespassers and Poisoned Evil). His main weapon: Reksat; an exact clone of Tasker! Invented by the late Dr. Roberts, but lured into Holec’s lair, Reksat was trained to kill. Though highly skilled, the young clone became deeply confused as to his origins. To Holec’s dismay, Reksat developed a human quality. At the same time, Tasker himself had learned of Dr. Argyle’s involvement in the work of Dr. Roberts and became intent on stealing the project for himself. The climax comes full-circle when the two split-images meet in a duel to the death. Director: Jason Stewart. Cast: Jason Stewart, Jon Kruithof, Franklin Halt, Peter Bissonette. The Short Story (1995)- The Ultimate DVD Edition
The Short Story is quite possibly the most unique comedy you’ll ever experience.
Director, Jason R. Stewart (The Trespassers) presents a story about a young woman, Sandy (newcomer, Kelly Marie), with aspirations of entering a short story contest. She gets full support of her husband Gregory (Jason Stewart) and some stiff competition from Gregory’s conniving co-worker, Dexter (Jon Kruithof of Concrete Robe and Splitting Images fame). Though winning may be a long shot, this does not deter Sandy from trying. The plot sounds simple, but the unique aspect of this story is Sandy’s imagined story ideas. As Sandy types, story ideas are acted out on-screen with some very funny results. Story ideas include: “The Masked Maniac”, “The Shakespeare/ Sci-Fi combo”, and “The Mad Scientist”. It’s like a bunch of mini-movies-within-a-movie! The story goes through Sandy’s many ideas, her writer’s block, her completion of the story, and finally, the contest results. Will Sandy realize her dream? Will Dexter cheat his way to victory? These questions and more will be answered in this unique and enjoyable movie!
Available for the firs time on DVD, The Short Story has been digitally re-edited from the original master tapes. This “ultimate edition” also includes additional, never-before-seen footage. Plus, after the program, stay tuned for The Missing Pages, a look behind this video classic. Hosted by Kelly Marie, it includes deleted scenes, out-takes, facts and a special Q & A with Jason Stewart and Kelly Marie, discussing The Short Story more than a decade after the movie was shot.
