It looks like a comedian who pokes a lot of fun at Kentucky will have our governor as his guest.
Plans are being firmed up for Governor Fletcher to appear on the Craig Kilborn show which airs late nights on CBS.
If it works out, Fletcher would be in Los Angeles for the taping Monday night.
Kilborn show runs at 12:35 am on WKYT and WYMT, after David Letterman.
Staffers know the incident with the governor's plane in Washington will be one topic, but they hope the governor will be able to highlight the state in other ways on national television.
Kentucky's governor drew a bit of negative publicity when the plane he was aboard flew into restricted airspace around Washington D.C. during Ronald Reagan's funeral.
It was since determined that the pilot was only following direction from ground controllers and was not at fault.
Craig Kilborn drew the ire of Kentuckians a few years back when he referred to the state as "Ken-sucky" and wondered why anyone would want to live there. |
