Some March musings from a late night host

Craig Kilborn, host of "The Late Late Show" on CBS, has a different take on the national phenomenon called March Madness.

During a telephone call, Kilborn added a little Humble Humor to the Mad Month.

- No.1: "Your office pool will be won by a woman who knows nothing about college basketball."

-No. 2: "Years from now, people will look back on this March Madness, and be amazed that there were actually 640 players who didn't skip college and go straight to the pros."

-No. 3: "I predict a cheerleader from a defeated team will force herself to cry because it's a surefire way to get on TV."

-No. 4: "I predict you will realize there are actually many colleges less prestigious than the one you attended."

-No. 5: "I love the Final Four--it's the one time of the year that male cheerleaders get their due."

What about the four No. 1 seeds?  "I think all the top seeds are appropriate," Kilborn says.  "Even Saint Joseph's."

And what about the lesser-known NCAA tournament teams, such as Florida A&M, Liberty and Vermont?  "I don't follow Division II," Kilborn mused.  (Hey, it's a joke, OK.)
