Project
Groundhog 2005
During this project we will
explore whether the groundhog is an accurate predictor of the
weather! We will collect and report weather
data for six weeks after Groundhog's Day from our area and
compare our data with classes from around the globe. The students will
be introduced to statistical analysis through graphing and
charting the data. This project will allow the students
an opportunity to apply the knowledge they learned during our
Community and Weather units by sharing information with the
