Toy Biz came out with a pretty good Captain America but he didn't have enough joint articulation for my tastes. This was one of my last 5 inch scale figures. I had also done an earlier, kind of crappy custom, pictured below. Once I had figured out what I was doing, I began remaking my own figures.      The base here is a Colossus. I shaved down his big hair, actually carving out the head wings, so they are plastic and firmly attached. The gloves, boots and chain mail top are Sculpey. That chain mail took quite a while, too. The 'A', stars and white stripes are all adhesive paper. The rest is Testor's paint with matte Mod Podge sealer.
