My Elektra custom was an experiment that largely failed. I was working on playmates for my new Daredevil and of course I wanted to do an Elektra. I had an extra Sunfire from the X-Men box set and it occured to me that because he was so scrawny, he might work for a woman. And he might have but I sculpied over his bumpy chain mail outfit which just added a thick layer of clay, making Elektra look like a she-male. If I had carved Sunfire down instead, she might have worked. Ah well.     The base is a Sunfire. First I cut off his mask and stuff and then I smoothed him over with Sculpey. The bodice, bands, gloves, boot tops, face and Kango are also Sculpey. For the hair I left a thin ridge under the Sculpey cap, filled it with glue and then stuck some doll hair in. The paint is Testor's and the sealer is matte Mod Podge.
