The music on this page is what
made the American youth durning
the 50's, 60's and early 70's.

Being a part of something or being
someone  was the biggest thing.

The 50's is  the beinging of
rock and roll era. Such groups
as the Planters, Searchers, Little Richie,
Elvies, Big Bopper, Richtie Valen
Buddy Holly, and other great
groups and singers.

The 60's started to come in and the
music started to make a change.
Heavier rock and roll sounds,
soul sounds or as it was called
Motown. This era also felt the
biggest change in America. The
Civil Rights Movement got stronger.
Our involvement in a place called
Vietnam got stronger. And the changes
were being felt in the country.

The early 70's things began to mellow
down and Society began to under-
stand her youths a little be more.
But there and always be a difference
in opinon with the youths...
