Jessica and Cristian's Love Story Jessica Buchanan was a sweet and polite young girl, but when her parents, Viki and Clint decided to get a divorce in 1993, she felt all alone and started rebelling. During this time, she met her first boyfriend, Cristian Vega in 1995. Jessica is a young, sweet, rich girl while Cristian is a great artist and poet, but also tough and street-smart guy, but despite all of their differences they fell deeply in love. But the teenagers didn't have it easy because Cris was from the "other sides of the tracks" Many times, Jess and Cris almost made love. They never went through it because Jessica wasn't ready. This did cause several break ups between them. In 1998, Roseanne Delgado and Will Rappaport arrived in Llanview. This is where the real challenge for Jessica and Cristian began. Roseanne was an old friend of Cris's and wanted Cris for herself. Jessica let her jealousy get to her when she misinterpreted a kiss between Rosie and Cris and ran to Will for comfort. They started drinking and had sex. This was Jessica's first time and she ended up pregnant with Will's child. Jessica was determined to keep the truth from Cristian and her family. But they eventually found out. When Cristian found out Jessica was pregnant with Will's baby, he was devastated. Within time, Cris learned to accept it and decided to raise the child with Jessica and get married. Jessica and Cristian ran to New York to get married on her 18th Birthday. At the very last minute, Jessica decided she wasn't ready and called it off. They returned to Llanview. Confused, Jessica decided to give up her baby for adoption but changed her mind. She grew to love her baby. She and Cris got back together and planned on getting married and would move to New York City to raise the baby together. Will wasn't very happy with the idea and was in love with Jess so he went along with it to make her happy. Viki decided to throw an engagement party for Cris and Jess, at Crossroads. During the party, Cris and Will got into a fight over Jessica and the baby. Jessica got upset with the both of them and left the party. Outside, she started to get contractions and started to head back to the party. Suddenly, a car came and hit Jess as she went into labor. It was Dorian, her mom's enemy. Jess lost the baby and named it Megan, after her half sister. Will and Jess got very close as they grieved over the loss of their baby. Cris grew closer to Roseanne but only wanted to be friends. Roseanne had other ideas! She was determined to marry him. With a lot of manipulations and lies, she did get Cris to the altar, but Jessica revealed Rosie's lies with evidence and stopped the wedding.  Will admitted to Jess that he borrowed money from the Megan Foundation to give to Roseanne to keep her and Cristian in New York and away from Jessica. But it was too late. Cris and Rosie were pronounced husband and wife. Jess was crushed that her true love was married to someone else, but Cris left Rosie at the altar because all he ever wanted was to be with Jess. The Marriage was evenutally annuled. Jessica was devastated by Will's deception and would not explain what really happened. Will insisted that Asa had framed him, but Jess wouldn't listen until she and Cris got Asa to admit it on tape. But it was too late, Will was on the train to statesville prision. The train crashed and they lost the tape. The three of them went on the run. Jessica was torn between Will and Cris. She grew very close to the both of them and they promised they'd all stay together. But Todd came and told Cris and Wil that Viki is dying (wasn't true) so Will decided to tell Jess he never loved her and leave so she would return home to her mother. Jessica was devastated and she turned to Cristian for comfort and they made love for the first time. They decided they wanted to get married because Jessica was sure it was what she wanted, but deep down she was still in love with Will too. When Jess discovered that Will lied to her and Cris knew the truth, she broke things off with him and chose to be with Will. Jess and Cris decided it was time to let go even though they still love each other. Jess and Cris went to Ireland to find Will but the police found him and put him in jail. They found the tape that incriminated Asa, and Will was freed. Years have past since they broke up and Cristian and Jessica lives went in different directions.
