Texas Chili

  • 1 lb. ground chili meat
  • 1 med. onion chopped
  • 1 can pinto beans (drained)
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 can tomatoe sauce
  • 1 t salt
  • 1 t paprika
  • 1/2 t oregano
  • 1/2 t minced garlic
  • 1-2 T ground cumin
  • 2-3 T chili powder
Brown ground meat and drain. Add all ingredients to browned meat. Simmer 1 to 2 hours. Add pinto beans. Simmer another 30 minutes. Serve with cornbread or crackers. Note: You can add all the spices to taste. You can add as many beans as you like.
