Beef Stroganoff


  • 1 lb. ground beef (browned)
  • 1 lg. onion chopped
  • 1/4 t salt
  • 1/4 t pepper
  • 1 t vegetable oil
  • 3 cl. garlic, minced
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 C sour cream
  • 1 T dijon mustard
  • 1 can beef consumee or beef broth
  • 4 C cooked extra wide egg noodles

Preheat oven to 350°. In medium sauce pan sauté onion, garlic, salt and pepper in vegetable oil.
Add ground beef, mushroom soup, consumee, and dijon mustard. Mix well and let simmer for 20-30 minutes.
Add sour cream and noodles mixing well. Pour into casserole dish
and bake for 15 - 20 minutes.
