The Return

God is going to gather all of Israel together.

"I will gather her that is driven out, and her that I have afflicted"

Micah 4:6-7:In that day saith the Lord, will I assemble her that halteth, and I will gather her that is driven out, and her that I have afflicted; and I will make her that is halted a remnant, and her that was cast off, a strong nation: and the Lord shall reign over them in Mount Zion from henceforth, even forever.

"I will save her that halteth, and gather her that was driven out"

Zeph:3:16: In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear thou not: and to Zion, Let not thine hands be slack.17: The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.18: I will gather them that are sorrowful for the solemn assembly, who are of thee, to whom the reproach of it was a burden.19: Behold, at that time I will undo all that afflict thee: and I will save her that halteth, and gather her that was driven out; and I will get them praise and fame in every land where they have been put to shame.20: At that time will I bring you again, even in the time that I gather you: for I will make you a name and a praise among all people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, saith the LORD.

Zephaniah 3:30:At that time will I bring you again, even in the time that I gather you; for I will make you a name, and a praise among all the people of the earth, even when I turn back your captivity before your eyes saith the Lord.

Just as God swore not to flood the earth again, so to is he going to gather his people and show them loving kindness and swear not turn away from them any more. And will comfort and protect them for ever.

"for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee."

Isa:54:6: For the LORD hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thouwast refused, saith thy God.7: For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee.8: In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer.9: For this is as the waters of Noah unto me: for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.

Jeremiah 23:3-4,And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase. And I will set up shepherds (nations) over them which will feed them; and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the Lord.

The days are coming that God is going to bring Israel back home. With great strength and it will be a sign for the whole world. Just as the world knows the story of the exoduses to will they know the story of the gathering and returning home.

"And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks"

Jer:23:7: Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that they shall no more say, The LORD liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt; 8: But, The LORD liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land.

isa:61:4:And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.5: And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.

Isaiah 29:22-23:Therefore thus saith the Lord who redeemed Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob, Jacob shall not be ashamed, neither shall his face now wax pale. But, when he seeth his children, the work of mine hands, in the midst of him, they shall sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, and shall fear the God of Israel.

"I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of."

Genesis 28:14-15:And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the West and to the East and to the North and to the South: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the Earth be blessed. And, behold, I am with thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.

He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.

Micah:7:14: Feed thy people with thy rod, the flock of thine heritage, which dwell solitarily in the wood, in the midst of Carmel: let them feed in Bashan and Gilead, as in the days of old.15: According to the days of thy coming out of the land of Egypt will I shew unto him marvellous things.16: The nations shall see and be confounded at all their might: they shall lay their hand upon their mouth, their ears shall be deaf. 17: They shall lick the dust like a serpent, they shall move out of their holes like worms of the earth: they shall be afraid of the LORD our God, and shall fear because of thee.18: Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy. 19: He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. 20: Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old.

then shall they be built in the midst of my people

jer:12:14: Thus saith the LORD against all mine evil neighbours, that touch the inheritance which I have caused my people Israel to inherit; Behold, I will pluck them out of their land, and pluck out the house of Judah from among them.15: And it shall come to pass, after that I have plucked them out I will return, and have compassion on them, and will bring them again, every man to his heritage, and every man to his land.16: And it shall come to pass, if they will diligently learn the ways of my people, to swear by my name, The LORD liveth; as they taught my people to swear by Baal; then shall they be built in the midst of my people.17: But if they will not obey, I will utterly pluck up and destroy that nation, saith the LORD.
