Guam, USA

This is the class of 2004 at Trinity Christian School in Yigo, Guam.  My first teaching assignment was this 6th grade class that included students from many different cultures, including Chamorros (natives of Guam), and students from Japan, the Philippines, Korea, Scotland, and the United States.

Our class took a dive on the submarine "Atlantis" on May 5, 1998 to celebrate the "International Year of the Ocean"

Guam is a territory of the United States in the western Pacific ocean. The photo to the left is from the west coast of Guam.  This part of the ocean is the Marianna Trench -  the deepest part of the ocean in the world.
