| "Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted" Matthew 5:4 Cristin's Prayer is a Christian support group for families(men or women) who are mourning children from a loss of 20 or more weeks gestation, stillbirth, neonatal death,SIDS or death of a child up to 1 year of age. We hope that this group and its support members will provide caring support, encouragement & Christian love to you during this most difficult time. Please note that it does not matter how long ago your loss was-the only requirement is the need of love & support of those who care. Moderated by Jennifer(to read our story please visit Cristin's Page) A few simple guidelines: Please always remember that this is a Christian group & although we do not require a statement of faith or that you even be a Christian to join, we do follow & expect others to follow Christian principles in all posts & interactions with the group and/or its members. I DO NOT review emails before they go through, I think that is silly for a group of adults. I am merely here to support & maintain the group. Remember the Golden Rule: Do unto others as you would have done unto you. "Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye evenso to them: for this is the law and the prophets." Matthew 7:12 This applies to all things in this group. It is human nature to disagree & have different views or opinions on things but please to not "bash" anyone for those views. Being mean or hateful will possibly drive away the folks who need support the most & this is something no one wants to see. Another important one (and one of my pet peeves): Please no postings that are not of a nature that would help someone else or be of use to them in their time of need. IE jokes, cute stories, etc have a place & it is not on the group. Please do post any helpful Christian websites, articles or even poetry you may have found comforting & think will help the other members. This IS encouraged.
