FPP

1. The commandments and laws given by God that may apply here are to be obeyed first and foremost. Some of the other rules may fall under this rule as well.
2. Please refrain from using Personal Attacks. If you have no comments to make about a persons argument, it is better not to respond at all. Attack the argument, not the arguer. Slander is considered illegal as well as sinful, so be sure to have evidence of a claim against someone when posting. Twisting a participant's name around so as to mock them or insult them, or even tease them, is not acceptable.
3. Do not link sites in your posts that are considered illegal, sexually oriented, or otherwise against the guidelines of this FPP
4. No excessive quoting of copyrighted material. Please keep in mind that this site is based in the United States and bound by the laws of the United States. Material may be quoted for educational purposes, but only quote what you need to enforce your point. If necessary, make a link to the source so that the participants and/or lurkers may access it at their leisure if they feel further reinforcement of a point is needed. Check the Library for links discussing Fair Use and Copyrights.
5. Profane language will not be tolerated. Theological terms such as Hell and Damn are acceptable within their theological definitions. Disguising other non acceptable profane words in pictures, links, or even in foreign languages will not be tolerated. Anatomical terms may be used within their context to make a point concerning references to sexual behavior as is concerned by doctrinal debates.
6. Participants are only allowed TWO posting names. This is to allow a person to use a separate anonymous name to avoid being persecuted by WTBTS officials that may seek to have a participant removed from their congregation unwillingly.
7. Attempts to "Out" a participant will be considered grounds for immediate banning of a participant. The lives of our participants mean a lot to us, spiritual, physical and psychological. Please do not attempt to force a person into a situation in which they could be removed from their congregation against their will. "Outing" is defined as any activity which may reveal confidential information about a person which could compromise their anonymity as well as putting Witnesses in a position where they could be removed from their congregation against their will or face consequences from family, friends, coworkers or other such persons.
8. Sexism, Racism, and other acts of prejudice will not be tolerated. I realize that when different religions collide that this creates tension. However please take the opportunity to use this site for what it was meant, and instead of the two (or however many) religions getting into arguments, take the opportunity to work through problems and come to a consensus or agree to disagree.
9. This site does believe in freedom of speech. But even this freedom must be with restriction. There is a difference between freedom and anarchy. The only restrictions to this freedom of speech are the rules of this FPP. Profanity, Sexist, Racist, and other Prejudicial and Slanderous comments, and any comments violating the laws of God as set forth in the Hebrew Scriptures.
10. Rules may be enforced that are not part of this FPP but may be part of Geocities' Terms of Service.

Please keep in mind that administrators and other volunteers of this site have lives outside of the internet and must take care of their offline lives first. However email will be answered as soon as possible, as well as any concerns and needs of the board.

Please email administration if you notice a problem with the board, or if the board is inaccessible.
