III C.A.C.A. meeting

18 March 2000

After the two first C.A.C.A. trips, in Oct 1998 and Sep 1999, we had the III meeting in 18 March 2000 of this world aclaimed event.

Participantes where the same:

I took my world famous finless 1800S drove in this photo by my wife for the 1st time;

1800S drove by my wife for the 1st time

1967 Citröen ID19
my cousin ZM from Coimbra took is Citroën ID 19 from 1967 (while patiently waiting for the restauration of his peculiar Citröen van)

1964 Ford Taunus back from his work in the Nederlands we had Jorge and family in his fantastic condition 1964 Ford Taunus;

Peugeot 404 Cabriolet my cousin FJ this time left his 1961 Jensen P1800 in the garage and brought his "new" Peugeot 404 Cabrio, definitely *star* of this meeting.

As usual Luís is still looking for a classic car up to his status (can be any Mercedes) so we went (again!) in a regular car (so no photo).

Weather was great, although we were still in winter. We had even some hot time indeed.
Lunch was in Águeda, Pateira de Fermentelos in restaurante Pôr-do-Sol, land of my friend Pe. Júlio Grangeia, known as the cyber-priest! (well he is really a catholic priest, famous for beeing the first portuguese to have his own site, a very nice man).

Then we went to Caramulo where we visit the fantastic Museu do Automóvel, one of the best Auto Museums in the world (lots of Bugattis, Ferraris, Rolls, ...).

Then some went to S. Pedro do Sul while others went back home.
