Friends Indeed - SOD
Melissa Archer and Jessica Morris
SOD: What were your first impressions of each other?
Archer: "She was really sweet. We have some of the same history -- we've been on our own since we were about 18, knew some of the same people in L.A., and we're about the same age."
Morris: "She seemed really energetic and down to earth. A lot of actresses are hard to be friends with because they're competitive and snotty. She was just a normal girl."
SOD: Have you had any funny mishaps when you were together?
Archer: "One time, we'd been out late and went to McDonald's at about 2 or 3 in the morning -- somebody recognized us. We were shocked because we weren't looking fabulous by any means."
Morris: "One time, we got dressed up to go to this party, heels and everytihng. And we walked into the restaurant and realized that the party was the day before. We felt pretty dumb, so we went out to a nice dinner anyway. All dressed up and no place to go!"
SOD: What's the nicest thing you've done for each other?
Archer: "She was very much there for me during hard, rough times. She's a good listener and really supportive. I got sick one night and had to go to the emergency room, and I didn't know many people [in town]. So, she offered to come to the emergency room and stay with me. It was cool that she was willing to get out of bed when she had to work the next day."
Morris: "She's just there for me. When I met her, I was kind of having trouble adjusting to New York and everything, so she listened to me cry and talked to me, that kind of thing. Just little things. Yesterday we met up, and she brought me a cookie. That was thoughtful."
SOD: What presents have you exchanged?
Archer: "This year I got a fart machine from her. And a game, but I can't say which one -- I'll get in trouble! I get her stuff from The Body Shop."
Morris: "I think maybe she's telling me that I stink! Maybe that's a clue! I also got her a George Foreman Grill. She loves meat -- chicken, steak, hamburgers. But I don't think she's ever used it."
Archer: "Because I still don't cook, but it's nice to have when you want to make chicken. It makes your life 10 times easier."
