Christy layed at the sofa too. "I'm ready for bed" she yawned and Jessie got up and walked to her room. "Yea, me too! This day was fantastic, don't you think?"
"It was alright. You and that Daniel boy seem to have hit off. Do you like him?" Jessie thinks for a second and then answers "He is really cute! I like him but I don't know if he likes me!" She closed her bedroom door and Christy said to herself "I guess we will find out soon enough. I wonder if the boys are thinking of us!" Jessie's voise came from the room "I'm sure he's thinking of you know! He looks at the sealing, wondering what you do!!", "Be quiet will you? Probably not. Good night!" She said and got to bed too.

 

Chapter 4

"Rise and shine Christy!" says Jessie and takes the blanket off her. She opens her eyes and realizes where she is. "Huh? It's too early!" she replies and closes her eyes again. "No,it's 10:00! If you want to find a job you have to get up! Forgot we have to search for one? You suggested that!"
"Naa, I didn't!" said Christy with a laugh and gets up. Jessie goes to the kitchen to make some breakfast while Christy tries to follow her. "I bought some newspapers so we can look for jobs." She gives her a cup of coffe and a newspaper. Christy begins to read slowly. Both of them were trying to find something interesting when the doorbell rung. Christy looked at her friend, "Who could that be?"
"I don't know! Can you open the door please?"
"What if it's Phil? I'm still in my pajamas" Christy wispers and get ready to run into her room in case it is their neibour. "Oh! You look sexy that way" says Jessie and goes to the door laughing. Just before she opens, she tells Christy "Oh, and by the way....it IS Phil! I told him to come when I saw him this morning. I went to buy the newspapers and I told him that we need to find a job so he said that he can help!" Christy started feeling a little nervous as she run inside her room. She would wear her best clothes and fix her hair as good as she could. Jessie smiles and opens the door like nothing had happen. "Good morning Philip!" Phil gets in and smiles at Jessie while he looks around to find Christy. Just before Jessie closes the door a familiar voise made her tremple. "Phil! Are you up here?" Philip turned around and got out of the door "Oh, hold on Jess, it's Dan! I'm up here man!" Daniel goes up the stairs and looks at his friend with a smile. "Hey Phil!" suddenly his eyes look at Jessie and he stops. He blushes while saying hello. Jessie gave him her best smile and invited him in. "Christy will be with us in a second." she said and invited them to sit down. In a few minutes, Christy came into the room quietly. When Phil saw her, he smiled and asked her if she had a good sleep. " oh yes, thank you!"
"Well, Jessie told me that you need to find jobs. Where I work, they need another sales person. But it's only for one of you!" All this time he didn't take his eyes away from Christy. "Where do you work?" she asked and Phil said that he works in a guitar shop. In the mean time, Daniel asked Jessie if she needed a job too. "Yes, unfortunately!Can you help me?" she said and Dan answered slowly, "Yes, I think I can. I work at the record store down the road. They need someone there as well. Are you intrested?" Jessie nodded. "Of course! I'm very good at records. But I'll sell only Beatles albums!" They both laughed but Daniel liked her taste. "That's a good choise! I love the Beatles!" Phil smiles at him as he found something in common with the girl he liked. Then he turned over to Christy "Then it's seatled! You'll come tomorrow with me and I'll introduce you to my boss. "
"Thanks!" said Christy and Phil wincked at her "Everything for my new friend! Hey girls, do you have any plans for today?" the girls said no so Phil had a great idea, "Why don't we do something together?"
"That will be great! We can go out walking and see where the day takes us!" said Daniel and winked at Jessie.
"Ok! You can show us the city!" said Christy to Phil and he got up quickly. "Can I?" he says as he takes Christy's hand. "I'll show you every beautiful place in Dublin!" she felt her heart flutters and her face turned red. At the same time, Daniel looked at Jessie, wondering if he should take her hand too. "Well, do it!" Phil wispers to Dan. He grins at his friend for the courage he gave him, and as he takes her hand she turns around and smiles at him. "What\s this holding hands thing? Is it common to hold hands here?" said Christy, trying to break the silence. Phil smiled and said "No, only when you like someone. But if you want me not to hold your hand..." Christy blushes as ahe realised that she said something stupid. "No, no I want you to! But...you like me?"
"Of course! Who wouldn't!"
"This is very strange for me!" she said and Phil laughed putting his arm around her shoulder.
Daniel grins shyly at Jessie while she tried to take him away with her, to let Philip speak. "Where are we going?" Daniel asked and Jessie smiled and winked at him "I don't know. We just have to leave those two alone". "Ohhh!" he finaly understood and grined.
"I always wanted to go to America. What made you come here? Difficulties?"
"We just desided to come" said Christy avoiding talking about the reason that made them leave. As they pass a beautiful cafe, Philip points at it and suggests they should go there. Christy follows him not paying attention to Dan and Jessie. A few miles away, the other couple was walking together. "So, where would you like to go?"
Daniel said. Jessie smiled and told him whatever he wants. "Anything would be great!" he said and smiled back. They didn't say anything else, but found a beautiful spot in the part to sit.

 

Chapter 5

The other morning, Jess had to wake up Christy again, but this time with more exitment. "Hey, wake up! I want you to tell me about your date!" The girl woke up slowly and looked at her friend. "huh? What date?"
"Yesterday evening! When we left you alone! What happened?"
"We just went at a cafe!...what did you and Daniel do? Have you kissed him yet?" Jessie's face turned red "Oh, not yet! I don't know if he likes me that much!"
"I think he does. Phil hasn't kiss me either. We haven't even hugged!" Christy laughed at her words.
"Don't worry! You have to get ready for work. You'll get to see him every day from now on!" When Christy heard about work, got very nervous. She got up quickly and run to the bathroom. "Don't be nervous! Come back to eat some breakfast!" Jessie said while she was making some coffe. She put peanut butter on a slice of bread and gave it to her when she came back. Christy took it without talking. After 15 minutes, both of them were ready. "Go on! You're late!" said Jessie and her friend left the house quickly.

"Oh, good morning Christy!You are just in time to start working!" Christy smiled but kept close to Phil, wondering what are they doing at this job. After a minute, a customer came in. Phil smiled and turned at her. "Ok, you go and ask him how can you help and he'll tell you what he wants. I'll be here to help you! Go ahaid!" Christy listened to him and walked to the custormer. "Hello, I'd like to buy a classic guitar but I don't know anything about them!" She smiled at the man and turned to Philip with a 'help me' look. Phil pointed at the department with the classic guitars. "Can you handle it?" he wispered and Christy said that although she doesn't know anything about guitars, she'll try. "Don't worry! You'll learn all about them in a while!" said and winked at her. After a couple of exahsting minutes for Christy, the customer leaves the store. "You were great!!" shouted Phil. "I didn't know what he was talking about, nor did I know what I was talking about!" she laughed but Philip remind her that she sold a guitar. "That's what counts my friend!" he said and she agreed.

Meanwhile, Jessie was getting ready to go to work when someone knocked at the door. "Oh Christy what have you forgot this time?" she said opening the door but then turned all red realising that it wasn't Christy but Daniel!
"Hi! I just came to walk you to work!"
"Oh, that's very sweet of you! I'll get my coat."
she said and Daniel waited for her. When they arrived to the store, Dan started showing her around. "So, when will I start doing some real work? I don't see any customers!"
"Oh, they'll come! Enjoy the quiet while you can!" said Daniel and laughed. Before Jessie answers, a customer came in. "Your first customer just walked in!" he wispered to Jessie and with a smile in her face, she walk to him with confidence. "Good morning sir, how can I help you?"
"Hi, I would like to know if you have any Wings albums?"
"Oh yes, of course! Very good taste! You like Wings?"
"Yes, very much!"
"Great! I'll show you everything we have!" Daniel was watching the whole conversation and smiled at his thoughts. After a long conversation about the Wings and Paul McCartney, the customer leaves with 2 Wings albums. "Good job!" said Dan and Jessie smiled "Thanks but I don't know what to do if someone asks for an ACDC album! Probably punch him!" she said and both laughed.
