Thai Tribal Threads
Nan Province & Chiang Rai  Province
North Thailand
Thai Tribal Threads (TTT) is a self-help cottage industry working in concert with the  Thai Peoples Welfare Foundation and other projects in northern Thailand. It is a branch of the very successful Thai Country Trim project.  The purpose of the ministry has always been to reach Thai and tribal women with the Gospel of Christ and to help them earn a  living by working at home producing hand made handicrafts.   From a small   beginning about 15 years ago, the ministry now helps over 400 women earn extra money for their families and leads them toward a vibrant and meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ.   Weekly bible studies and in-depth  discipleship times with all participants in the program have resulted in  dozens of decisions for Jesus Christ and additions to churches in north Thailand as well as church starts in many areas of Nan and Chiang Rai.   We are grateful to the Lord for His leadership and faithfulness in this vital and growing ministry.  Many of the products seen below and other TCT  products are sold in department stores and retail shops in the US and   England.  The Womens Missionary Union in the US also markets these  products under the name of Tribal Crafts.
