CHRISTMAS
EVE
WITHOUT
YOU
The
fireplace
crackling,
how
cozy
the
room,
Pines,
bows
and
ribbons
fill
the
empty
gloom.
Christmas
tree
a
glitter,
with
tinsel
and
lites,
Presents
delightfully
dressed,
Oh
what
a
sight!
Baking
for
hours,
a
wide
array
of
treats,
Christmas
cake,
and
pudding,
trays
of
sweets.
Stockings
are
hung,
by
the
bookcase
with
care,
Santa
stands
motionless,
over
by
the
stairs.
The
world
outside
my
window,
peaceful
and
white,
I
love
Christmas
Eve,
such
a
beautiful
night.
You
so
loved
life
and
made
me
laugh
every
day,
Oh
how
I
loved
you,
and
I
needed
you
to
stay.
My
soul
is
heavy
burdened,
your
no
longer
here,
How
tragic
is
grief,
that
first
painful
year.
I
cherish
and
remember,
midst
tears
I’ve
cried,
Wonderful,
warm
memories,
of
you
by
my
side.
Excitement
for
living
poured
from
your
heart,
How
hard
this
Christmas
Eve,
we
are
apart.
A
soul
will
last
forever,
now
with
God
above,
Looking
up
to
heaven,
I
whisper
words
of
Love.

Christmas
Eve
…
a
time
to
reflect
on
the
ones
who
have
made
a
positive
difference
in
our
lives!
Cherish
the
time
you
have.
