DHTML = Dynamic HTML

DHTML, short for Dynamic HTML, is the means by which you can create a web page that has its contents or appearance changing (hence "dynamic" as opposed to "static") even after it is loaded by your visitors' browsers. This is usually achieved by a combination of HTML, JavaScript and sometimes CSS (Cascading Style Sheets).

You should probably be aware that using these state of the art features will also exclude people who do not use Netscape 4.X and IE 4.X (and above) from viewing your site correctly (if at all).
