Due to the fact that the deputy and his family have received threats, (and I also have received threats) and also due to the fact that the stories I hear about this case keep changing, and therefore I do not know what is the truth and what isn't, I have taken this site down until I know all of the facts. I have heard that the TV station falsely reported information. I am not sure what to believe. I do not want to post false information, and since I am hearing so many different sides to this story, it may take a very long time to get these facts straight. I still firmly believe that Cheatham County, TN needs an animal control facility. I will be sending the petition to the county, and ask that they find a means of funding this, and I will be happy to listen to suggestions on how to go about funding such a facility. Any suggestions others may have are welcome. You may write me by e-mail. I will not play a part in having someone's life threatened. No one deserves that kind of treatment. Violence is wrong, be it verbal or physical. I am leaving the purple heart up, because it is an important symbol to me and many others. I am still deeply saddened by Caesar's untimely and tragic death, and he will always hold a place in my heart. |
