Academy 1/48 F4U-1D Corsair

This is Academy's 1/48 F4U-1D Corsair. It's built OOB. Not a bad kit and a low buck alternative to the Tamiya bent winged bird. The decals could be better as they had a tendency to silver, even with the gloss coat. Colors are from MM enamels. A pleasant build of a great looking and historically significant airplane
